Itinerary

The drive from Kathmandu takes you to Soti Khola from where you will be commencing the Manaslu Circuit trekking trip. You will be ascending the trek as soon as you start trekking from Soti Khola. You will be continuing the trek from Machhakhola to Namrung, and finally to Samagaon where you will be staying overnight. After a much-needed acclimatization at Samagaon to save energy for the exploration the next day, you would be traversing the Birendra Lake and MBC. Exploring the most appealing panoramic views of Cheo Himal, Kang Guru, and Annapurna II for multiple, you will be concluding the Manaslu trek journey with a return drive from Dharapani to Kathmandu that takes around 6 to 8 hours.

      Best seasons to do 13 days Manaslu circuit trek

      The weather is not favorable while trekking in the winter seasons. It is not impossible to trek in the winter but we have to face many difficulties while trekking. Spring season (march-may) and autumn season (Sept-Nov) of Nepal is the best season to trek. During this season, the temperature is moderate. Flora and vegetation are in bloom in this season. While passing through the trails you will you get to see the different types of rhododendron which catch your both eyes and heart. The sky is clear, allowing for striking mountain views. Also, autumn season is also good for trekking in the Nepal. The temperature is neither cold nor too hot.

      We will accommodate you in tea houses. Tea houses facility is available in Manaslu trekking route. The facilities provided by them are basic but efficient and convenient .The beds are generally with foam pad, pillow and blanket and each room has a twin room. You might not be satisfied with the bed, we will highly recommend you to bring sleeping bag with yourself. Some tea houses provides private room with attached toilet but most of tea houses of high elevation provide private room with common toilet. But you will be charged for using hot shower.

      Tea house lodges typically serve meals with "Dal Bhat Tarkari," which is a dish made up of rice, dal, lentils, veggies, pickles, and other ingredients. But the will provide veggies according to seasonal basis. The tea house also offer other western food cuisines like momo, noodles, macaroni, pizza etc. But while trekking you can also bring some snacks by yourself protein bars, dry fruits, refreshment juices. We can also buy these products in the shops but it may be expensive.
