Every day it is 6 to 7 hours of walking. The lifestyle in the mountains is very simple to what we are used to in cities. The modern comforts are very limited.

As the trek progresses, you may feel the pressure of the high altitude and remoteness of the region on your body & mind. Therefore, we always say physical and mental fitness both are needed for the Everest budget trek. The later part of the trail also involves glacial walking and gets very steep.

Altitude sickness on Everest Base Camp Budget Trek 12 Days

Budget Everest Base Camp Trekking 12 Days in summer/monsoon (May to September) is not advised. This is the worst time of the year because of rainfall, slippery & muddy trails, and continuous delays in Lukla flights. The views are not great because of the fog. Great experience of Everest Base Camp Trek !

I could not believe myself that I was able to get 5000 high from sea level. It blew my mind when I start thinking about Everest Base Camp, the high hills, beautiful air, White Mountain and lovely people is what made my trip so special. I felt well looked after and supported all times. I highly recommend you to visit trek with Experience Company like Welcome Nepal treks rather than beginner.
