  • We will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast for a boat trip on Phewa Lake, followed by a visit to the Barahi Temple, located on a small island in the mid-eastern part of the lake. After the temple visit, we'll take the boat to the other Shore of Phewa Lake and begin our ascent to the World Peace Pagoda. On clear days, you can enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna massif, including Annapurna 1 (8,091 m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), and the sacred Machhapuchre (6,997 m). Our walk will take us past quaint settlements and through lush, shady forests. After approximately 1 hour, we'll reach the World Peace Pagoda.

 

  • The World Peace Pagoda is a symbol of peace, promoting the message of non-violence and compassion. This Buddhist monument, located at an elevation of 1,100 m, offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayan range, Phewa Lake, and the city of Pokhara from the top of Ananda Hill. Take a moment to soak in the serene atmosphere and appreciate the beauty of this special place. Our visit here will last approximately 30 minutes.

 

  • Next, we'll embark on a 1.5-hour walk to the towering statue of Lord Shiva, the tallest of its kind in Nepal, standing at over 15 meters. From this viewpoint, we'll have stunning views of Lake Phewa, the city of Pokhara, and on clear days, the majestic Annapurna massif. Don't miss this opportunity to take in the beauty of the region.

 

  • After taking in the sights at the Shiva statue, we'll make our way back to the World Peace Pagoda for a well-deserved lunch. Following lunch, we'll drive back to pokhara from World Peace Pagoda 20 to 30-minute drive to Pokhara Lakeside where we'll drop you off at your hotel.
