It has a fine wall paintings describing Buddhist tradition. Thereafter, you will visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples built in Himalayas by Songtsen Gampo, a Tibetan King. This temple introduces the Buddhism in Bhutan. Next day, you will have full day sightseeing to Thimphu. Thimpu is the wonderful combination of modernity and tradition. Sightseeing in Thimpu includes National Library, Institute for Zorig Chusum, National Memorial Chorten, Handicrafts Emporium, Textile and Folk Heritage Museum and Trashichhoedzong.  National Library have wide collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts and texts along with modern academic books especially on Himalayan religion and culture. Institute for Zorig Chusum is also known as Painting School commonly at the place which provides 6 years course on 13 traditional Bhutan arts and crafts. Handicrafts Emporium run by the government. National Memorial Chorten is a monument to world peace and a memorial to the Late King ("the Father of modern Bhutan"). Textile and Folk Heritage Museum provides mesmerizing insights to the Bhutan’s way of life and culture. Trashichhoedzong monastery has various government offices, secretariat building and the throne room of His Majesty.
