Itinerary Overview of 14 Days Upper Mustang Trek

The 14 days trekking journey to Upper Mustang starts with a 6-7 hours’ drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. You will take a beautiful scenic flight from Pokhara to Jomsom and start the trekking to Kagbeni. The trek continues to Chele, Geling, Charang and finally to Lo-Manthang where you will be on the mission to explore Namgyal Gompa and Tingkhar. You will return back to Lo-Manthang and get on an adventurous trek to Drakmar, Syangmochen, and Chhusang. You will visit many monasteries, old houses, gompas and see many antiques around the area that have a great historical and cultural importance. Another incredible place you get to visit in the 14 Days Upper Mustang Trek is indeed Muktinath. The smell of the incense sticks with the toiling of bells makes the whole time in the temple mesmerizing. It’s now time to return back from Muktinath to Jomsom, where you will get on a flight to reach Pokhara on Day 13. The trek ends with a drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. This time in Kathmandu will be little different, as you have made some of the best memories in your entire lifetime.
