Everest Base Camp Trekking 14 Days Package -Fixed Departure-2018

Lofty mountain vistas and peculiar multiethnic community contrive to form Nepal as a perfect hideaway holiday destination. When people talk about doing holiday in Nepal then a word comes in a mind at first i.e. Himalayas. From world’s tallest mountain Mt. Everest to over 19000 mountain peaks make Nepal a Himalayan country. Moreover, presence of 8 mountains in Eight Thousands club proves that Nepal truly is an ideal for Himalayan walking routes. Among such stupendous walking trails Everest Base Camp Trek route is an epitome of all Nepal Trekking Routes. An abode of Mt. Everest (8848 m) preserved by intrepid Sherpa people the Khumbu region hosts this alluring trekking trip.

Relish jaw dropping scenery of more than 20 mountains and traverse through temperate to alpine forests belt during Everest Base Camp Trekking. The joyous yet adventurous flight to world’s most extreme airport is the gateway towards Khumbu. Once trekkers meet the complete trekking crew members of Welcome Nepal Treks & Tours in Lukla the walking starts. Passing by tranquil hamlet of Phakding along the Dudhkoshi River trekkers would entice majestic view of Mt. Everest for the first time on trek moments before reaching Namche. Phakding rest on first day is preliminary adjustment to body while the rest in Namche is proper acclimatization before embarking on high altitude trekking. The hub of Sherpa and major marketplace of Khumbu the Namche Bazaar is vibrant with eateries, bars and lodges. Acclimatization hiking of Everest View Hotel endows breathtaking scenery of mountains like Mt. Amadablam, Thamserku, Tabuche, Nuptse, Lhotse, Everest and others. The terrain and forests around Khumbu Valley is a joy to behold. The trail from Namche to spiritual hill station of Tengboche Monastery is full of rhododendron and pine trees. Get some blessings from monks of this holy monastery before embarking further towards Dingboche. The monastery is equally famous during Mani Rimdu Festival.

High altitude trekking requires extreme care and guidance. Trekkers should heed instructions from our trekking leaders who are highly experienced in mountain trekking management. Another acclimatization hiking takes place on Nagarshan Hill. Transcending hills and mountains amalgamated scenery would definitely overwhelm trekkers. From Dingboche following the distant sight of Mt. Pumori (7161 m) trekkers reach Lobuche passing by Thukla Memorial Pass. This pass is commemorated to highlight the intrepidity of mountaineers like Babu Chiri, Pasang Lhamu, Scott Fischer, Rob Hall and others during Everest expedition. The moraines and glaciers pave way towards Gorakshep from Lobuche. This is the last camping or rest place during Everest Base Camp Trekking. The place is very tranquil nestled on the foothill of Kalapathar (5545 m). About 2 hours of walking take trekkers to iconic Everest Base Camp (5365 m). Leave your foot prints on this legendary place. This moment of yours can be shared for generations to come as you have stepped on the soil once stepped by legendary mountaineers Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay back in 1953 during first Everest Successful Summit expedition. Enthralling moments don’t stop here. Early morning hiking of Kalapathar for enigmatic sun rising from casement of Himalayas would raise the spirit of Himalayan holidaying journey. Take the same trail back to Lukla for flight to Kathmandu.

Relish the deity of Himalayan walking holiday trail. Form a vivacious and momentous tale associated with iconic Everest Base Camp. We ensure impeccable hospitality and quality services during Everest Base Camp Trekking. Come and let’s trek towards Khumbu the home of mountains and Sherpa.

    Everest Base Camp Trek 2017

    Rating:

I joined Welcome Nepal Treks (owned by Hari Khadkha) for an Everest Base Camp Trek between 05 and 23 Oct 2017 for 16 Days. Back in Apr, 2017 three of us did a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan with them and were quite impressed with their service so decided to take on the more challenging EBC Trek with the same Tour Operator owned and managed by Hari Khadkha. Further one of the most decisive things for choosing this trek with Welcome Nepal Treks was our guide in the previous tour, Ngima Ongel Lama who was such a wonderful person, someone a whole lot more than a guide. We were very much comfortable and impressed with his service so I decide to do the EBC Trek with Welcome Nepal Treks on the condition that Ngima (pronounced Neema) would accompany me. I wanted someone who had a lot of experience, knowledge and patience to accompany me on this solo trek and I was sure he was the right choice. Well, now that I managed to complete my trek very successfully, I can safely say I couldn't have found a better guide than Ngima. He was simply amazing and without him I wouldn't have been able to do this successfully. So if you ever wanna do EBC Trek, Welcome Nepal Treks is highly recommended as Hari gave me a very good price for a solo trek but do insist on having Ngima as your guide coz he's a lot more than highly recommended. EBC is approximately 120+ km in length both ways but depending on the route and by treks you do, this can only go higher. At the end of my trek, I'd done somewhere between 160-175km over 15 Days. That's a one tough yet an amazing trek you should attempt at least once in your life time. Why is EBC trek so dangerous? It's the High Altitude and as a result Lack of Oxygen. You start your trek in Lukla which is at 2,840m (9,318ft) and you end up at EBC at 5,364m (17,600ft) which is an altitude gain of 2,524m (8,280ft). If you attempt Kalapaththar, that is at 5550m (well over 18,200ft). Remember, when you cross the 12,000ft mark, that's the killer zone and Oxygen level starts to decrease rapidly. Therefore you have to keep an eye out for Acute Mountain Sickness or AMS which can kill you in no time with very little warning. Also trekking for so long means you’re prone to injuries quite easily such as sprained ankles, diarrhea, headaches, etc. Why do you need Ngima as a Guide? Coz he's done EBC Trek (and many other high altitude treks) more than 50 times and I’m not kidding. He’s such an easy-going person with exceptional qualities. Not once you’ll regret of having him as your guide. Thanks to his experience, he will be able to see if you’re suffering from AMS or not before you even know it. Remember, knowing this in advance will mean life or death as AMS is a sudden and a silent killer. Further he knows the Everest Region better than the back of his hand. No matter where you are, he knows the best places for viewpoints, have safe drinking water, the best paths and guest houses to stay at. Having him almost guarantees you have a successful trek and I can vouch for him from my very own experience. Why go with Welcome Nepal Treks? Well, Hari offered me a very attractive price and he’s so reasonable and easy to deal with. Quick to respond to any inquiry and will help you tailor-make your journey just like he did with mine. It was a great experience all in all and I’ll have no hesitation in partnering with them for any future hikes in Nepal. Well, I hope you all will have a great trek if you ever visit the Everest Base Camp Trek. Good luck folks! Sri Abeywickrema Show less

I spent very memorable days in the Everest region in Nepal. I used to dream to see this highest peak of the world and now I arrested it in my camera. My guide arranged everything and helped me a lot. He did not let me feel tired and boring. I have read about the Manaslu region and willing to go there with this company again. I like to make a strong recommendation.

    Rating:

I have no hesitation recommending this company to all of my friends. Mr Hari Khadka was excellent from the very beginning, replying to me emails courteously and very quickly. He was able to organize the exact trek we wanted, when we wanted, and was very happy to work around my travel times and flight changes etc. We were absolutely at ease when being transferred to and from the Tribhuvan International airport - our pickup simply waited for hours until our flight, which was late, arrived. It's comforting to know that they will simply wait for you, and not leave if your flight is late! If you want peace of mind that you are getting an honest and reliable company when booking your next adventure in Nepal, choose Welcome Nepal Treks . They really go above and beyond your usual trekking deal. If I ever go back, or visit the neighboring Bhutan, Tibet and Indian tour there is no doubt I can recommend Welcome Nepal Treks to organize it!

    Fantastic Everest Trekking

    Rating:

We requested information from several trekking companies; only Hari from Welcome Nepal Treks was able to offer the service we wanted (a single porter-guide for a 13 day Lukla-Kala Pattar trek) at a reasonable price. WNT was also the only company to offer staff from the area around Lukla which is superior for several reasons: an actual local who has contacts in the area, knows the land intimately, isn't susceptible to AMS like a guide from Kathmandu, and better still for the budget traveler, you don't have to pay to fly them out. Plus, Home Raj is the man, and knew just how to pace us (and push us!) while we were trekking. Hari also facilitated two smooth round trips to the airport. Professional, dependable, and an overall fantastic experience.

What a great service and experience for Everest Base Camp Trek with welcome Nepal Treks. Mr Hari and his team will make sure you have the best possible experience on your trekking. From first contact Hari was very responsive and patient answering all questions while tailoring the trekking tour to our wishes. Besides being great in organizing Hari takes very good care of his staff and makes sure they also have a great experience and have opportunities to learn. He doesn't try to make a couple bucks more by cutting in porters he much rather adds people to make it a good trip for everyone.
