This is the first day of our trial. On this day, we will drive from Pokhara to Kande which will take about 1 hour. Again we trek to Pothana (or Deurali) from Kande. It will take about 3 to 4 hours to reach there. After reaching there, we will check in to the hotel to refresh oneself. Just 5 hotels are present in Pothana and 3 in Deurali. If we stop our foot at Pothana, we will stay at Hotel Sangrila G.H or similar., and if we stop at Deurali, we will stay at Nice View Lodge or similar.

Next day, our trial continues to Low camp which is at the height of 3,150m. It will take about 3 hours to reach there and we will be there enjoying the view of beautiful rhododendron trees covered with moss, fern, and lichen. The best view from this camp is the splendid Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountain. There are just 3 lodges in Low Camp and we will stay in Low Camp GH or similar. Despite fewer numbers of hotels, facilities provided there are adorable. It provides room in twin sharing basis or single bedroom along with Wi-Fi, hot shower, extra blankets and many more.

This day, we will trek straight to High Camp from the Low camp which will take around 5 to 6 hours to reach there. Our path will pass through the Mardi ridge providing the majestic view of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna ‘South’ and Hiunchuli. Isolated rhododendron bushes and colorful Danphe pheasant are also the major attraction during the trial. There are 3 hotels at High camp which are much bigger than the ones in Low camp. The best hotel there is Trekkers Paradise which is the best among all with the best of facilities of internet, charging, water (both hot and cold), shower, and so on.

  • Max. Altitude: 3,700m

This is the day when we finally trek to our major destination, Mardi Base Camp which is at an altitude of 4,500m. We will move from High Camp after having breakfast and it will take around 5 hours to reach there. We will explore the area around enjoying the natural environment including exotic flora and fauna, mountain ranges, snowy landscape, etc. After spending some time there, we will descend back to Sidding. It will take around 4 hours to reach Sidding. The way can be sloppy and slippery too, so we need to be much careful. We will stay in Trekkers Lodge or similar at Sidding. This hotel is the best one with facilities of Wi-Fi, organic and non-organic foods, water, and many more.

From Sidding, we will trek to Lumre passing through the villages of Kalimati and Ghalel. From Lumre we will find the jeep organized by Welcome Nepal Treks for your kind service. Then finally, we will drive to Pokhara and drop at your Hotel in Pokhara.
