Best suited for slow walkers or experienced hiker, Annapurna Base Camp Trek starts from road or flight to Lake City Pokhara. Hilly highway drive will take trekkers to Nayapool from where the walking starts. The first stay will be at Tikhedhunga or Ulleri depending upon the condition of our client. The steep route up the ridges to Ghorepani can be daunting but end product is magnificent. The scenery after Ghorepani is undoubtedly the best in the world. Early morning hiking of about 2 hours will take trekkers to famous sunrise view point of Poon hill. Outstanding Dhaulagiri range adorned by magnificent morning sunrays is delight to watch. Trail encompasses lush rhododendron forests and sightings of national bird of Nepal Danphe can also be seen. During February and March the forests looks splendid with different vibrant colors of rhododendron. The trail descends to Tadapani before heading to Chhomrung Village. Himalaya and Deurali paves way for trekkers to reach Annapurna Base Camp. Before reaching ABC the exploration of Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) is joy to behold. The mountain as seen from Pokhara will be right in front of your nose. Take as many pictures as possible while you stay in the base camp of world’s 10th tallest mountain. From this base camp the mountain vistas of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna I, II, South, Himchuli, Baraha, Shikhar, Singa Chuli, Gangapurna and others seems spectacular. While returning trekkers follow the Jhinu route where you can enjoy hot natural water springs bathing as well.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. Check in hotel. Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345 meters). You will be met by our representative and transfer to hotel and a short brief about the trekking after refreshment. Overnight at 3 star hotel (Thamel Eco Resort or The address Kathmandu Hotel)

Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara (833m.) Today we drive/flight if drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and stay in hotel at Lakeside. (7 hours drive) Overnight at 3 star hotel (Hotel City INN or Mount view Pokhara)

Day 3: Pokhara to Dhampus(1600m.) Short drive to Phedi from where trekking starts and trek to Dhampus (1,600 m.) and overnight at teahouse.

Day 4: Dhampus to Landurk (1,565m) ) the trail gradually goes up from Dhampus to Deurali (2,100m). After then, we will walk through rain forest jungle heading down to Landruk 5 hours walk and overnight stay at teahouse.

Day 5: Landruk to Chomrong (2,170m) ) Heading down to the Modi River. The trail follows the Modi river banks till Jhinu Danda and passes through local villages and forests. After Jhinu Danda, the trail goes straight up approximately one hour walk. Chomrong is one of the best places for the mountain views (Annapurna south, Hiuchuli, Fishtail, etc.) and beautiful rural scene. Overnight stay at teahouse.

Day 6: Chomrong to Dovan (2,505m.) From the lower part of the village, you descent to the suspension bridge over the Chomro Khola (river) and climb steeply at first, passing through Tilche, Bhanuwa, Sherpa Lodge. A little further up are the scattered lodges of Sinuwa, a perfect place to stop and admire the view back down the Modi Khola. From where a panoramic view of Mt. Fishtail can be seen. The trail also changes in character from wide stone steps and mixed rhododendron forest which sets the valley ablaze with color during April. Overnight at tea house.

Day 7: Dovan to Deurali (3,230m) During the trek, along this trail, we do not find any permanent settlement. The trail passes through solitary places and one can really feel the Nature’s wilderness. If you walk without making any noise, you are likely to have the chances to see a variety of species of wildlife such as wild pig, deer, snow leopard, etc. After walking 4 hours, we can reach Deurali from Dovan and stay in local lodge.

Day 8: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m.) As this route is in the high altitude area, you might feel the shortage of oxygen, so, you are advised to walk slowly. However, you can feel that you are very close to the Nature. The scene of waterfalls and close mountain view may make your trek enjoyable. After walking along the trail for about three hours, you can reach ABC and stay in a local lodge.

Day 9: Trekking back to Dovan from ABC (2,505m.) Wake up early in the morning and trek to Machhapuchhare Base Camp to see beautiful sunrise and mountain views. After having breakfast, we go back to Dovan and stay at a local teahouse.

Day 10: Dovan to Chomrong (2,170m.) After having breakfast at Dovan, we trek to Chomrong and stay in a teahouse.

Day 11: Chomrung to Ghandruk (1,939m.) The trail goes straight and a little bit down hill. Then, we cross the Kimrung Khola and gradually go up. Then comes a very nice tiny village. After about one hour’s walk, we arrive to famous and beautiful Ghandruk village which is culturally and naturally rich Gurung settlement and also listed on UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. Cultural show in the evening on request. Overnight at tea house.

Day 12: Ghandruk to PokharaWalk through a paddy field and local settlement. After 4 hours of walk, you will come to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara, Overnight at 3 star hotel (Hotel City INN or Mount view Pokhara)

Day 13: Pokhara to Kathmandu (1320) today drive/flight back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. Overnight at 3 star hotel (Thamel Eco Resort or The address Kathmandu Hotel)

Day 14: DepatureUntil your departure time free for shopping or rest etc. Then we will drop you at the airport.
